FRUCASA is a family-owned company located in Honduras. Our 70-acre property is situated near two river streams, providing us with a constant supply of fresh water for our crops. At FRUCASA, our main harvest is rambutan, and we are dedicated to producing high quality fruit for export. We take pride in our sustainable farming practices and our commitment to supporting the local community.
With a packaging plant located in property, FRUCASA has optimized its processes from production to packaging and delivery in-house.
The Asociación de Productores de Frutas de Tela, FRUTELA, was established in 1998 to support the packaging and export of the harvest from local producers. The plant operates on the harvesting periods employing up to 20 people. The rambutan fruit is cut and taken to the plant where it undergoes preparation, selection and packaging.
